What I served for my sons 1st B-day

Well, everyone knows it is hard to figure out what to server for a one year olds birthday. I looked through so many recipies before finally just making things I already make regularly. I made spinach artichoke dip. This is such an easy thing to make. It has like 4 ingredients and was a hit. I made enchiladas, quesadillas, refried beans and had the kids make their own little pizzas, which was a hit, too! The little pizzas were made by having the kids streach buscuit dough and add pizza sauce, pepperoni and cheese. They are so simple and only take about 8 minutes to cook. The kids enjoyed making their own food. For punch I used either sprite or gingerale and a frozen juice. Each time I used a different flavor. These are very delicious! Adults and kids love it! I hope this helpe with your birthday meal plans!

Peanut butter chocolate squares

A couple of weeks ago I decided to make peanut butter sqaures. I remember my Grandma making them when I was younger. I thought I might be able to recreate her recipe but the first try was a bust. The ingredients are easy. Peanut butter, confectioners sugar, graham crackers. butter and semi-sweet chocolate. I added way too much chocolate on top and it ruined the whole thing for me.
Hopefully next time it ends up better! I will keep you up dated.
